With the first threads of dawn, 

your heartbeat accelerates towards the sun.

​Drums overrule the sound of consciousness. 

​Searching in the seas of loss, you dig the graves of your brothers, and with their gravestones, the witnesses to your crime, you build a ladder to the light. 

​You feed the fire of your soul with the flowers planted in their memories. 

​With your bare hands, you sow, and with fire in their eyes, they reap.
